Deyang Sixth People's Hospital (Dongqi Hospital) is a national two-class & first-grade comprehensive hospital. Founded in 1965, it is established with the approval of the party central committee and the State council and specialized in providing services to the third-line enterprise DFSTW (predecessor of Dongfang electric group Dongfang Turbine Co. LTD). After the “Wenchuan” earthquake, the hospital is reconstructed in Deyang economic and technological development zone on September, 26, 2009 (wholly funded by Hongkong government) with an area of 32,000㎡. The hospital has 300 hospital beds and more than 60 large and medium devices with a price of above 100,000Yuan. Moreover, it is the cardiovascular diseases quality monitoring base of national baby friendly hospitals, digital hospital of Sichuan province, Huaxi hospital network hospital of Sichuan university, Chengdu military hospital cooperative hospital, Teaching hospital of Huaxi hospital of Sichuan university, prosthetics & orthotics assembly hospital, Liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine teaching hospital, and Beijing Fuwai cardiovascular disease hospital of Chinese academy of medical sciences.
